- Navigate to the home screen by clicking on the house icon at the bottom of the Kindle Fire.
- Next, see the upper right hand corner and tap the 'Quick settings' wheel, click "More" which will be the last button on the menu that pops up.
- Select "Date and time" then click "Set automatically" or "Set manually." Often just selecting the correct time zone will update the time.
- Sometimes turning the Kindle off and back on resets the proper time. Alternatively, hit "Set manually" plug in the time and date that way.
